Apple’s iPhone 17 Series

Apple has just announced its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three upgrades to familiar models as well as the brand-new iPhone Air, that takes the place of the Plus. If camping out on release day isn’t really your style, and you still need to secure one right away, you'll be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12th, before the September 19 release date.

Aplpe’s iPhone 17 boasts a fresh design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after a long wait (and a fair bit of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally includes a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, Apple’s new A19 chip is faster and also more energy-efficient, especially when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll see a significant increase in speed and better gaming performance thanks to ProMotion.
About the camera, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography more detailed and much more detailed.

The iPhone 17 will come in six colourways: black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in black, white, light gold and sky blue.

The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in three premium finishes: blue, orange and silver.
